Advertising and cookies

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., on this website. When you view products, add items to your cart, start checkout or buy something, we share that activity with Meta so we can measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

When you place an order, this can include your email address, phone number, name and general location. Before these details are sent, they are hashed: converted into a fixed string of characters using a one-way mathematical function. Hashing is not encryption and does not make you anonymous. Meta compares the hashed details with details people have given Meta, and can link them to you if you have a Meta account. Meta may store this information outside New Zealand.

Advertising-related tracking is enabled by default for visitors in New Zealand, subject to your privacy choices. You can opt out of this tracking at any time using the options below:

• use Your privacy choices, linked at the bottom of every page of this website. Opting out applies to the browser and device you use;
• manage how Meta uses information from other websites in your Facebook or Instagram settings ("Your activity off Meta technologies"); or
• email hello@goodnessgracious.co.nz.

Blocking cookies in your browser stops the Meta Pixel, but it won't stop order information being sent through the Conversions API. Use one of the options above for that.

For more detail, see our Privacy Policy. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
